LITTLE BENTLEY HALL WATERWAYS & GARDEN SHOW 2007 Report
What a wonderful show we had in June 2007, although the weather on Saturday proved a little too good, and we were over run by about 8,500 visitors instead of the 5,000 we had expected. A total of approx 14,000 visited the show over the weekend. The Good news was that we have raised just over £100,000 over the weekend for the Charities the Show Supports.
A Big Thank you to everyone who helped make this a very succesful Show.
Friday evening, 1st June 2007 - We held a Gala Evening kindly sponsed by Kennedy Solicitors when about 750 guests had the opportunity of enjoying wine and canapes and viewing the Gardens , Art Show and Trade Stands
Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd June 2007 - The show was open from 10am through to 6pm, please see the programme pages for full details.
BBC Essex 'Down to Earth' broadcast live on Saturday 2nd June 12-2pm
'Praise in the Garden' Service with BBC Essex Rev Chris Bard and Colchester Salvation Army Band - Sunday 3rd June 10.30am - We have just heard of the very sad death of Rev Chris Bard.
We also held an identical show 2 weeks later 15th-17th June 2007 at West Woodhay House, West Woodhay, Near Newbury, Berkshire when £90,000 was raised for local Berkshire Charities.
We will be holding two more Charity Shows in 2009 .
