BIrkett Long Show Gardens
For the 2007 Show we are inviting up to 12 local Colleges and Garden Designers/Contractors/Specialists to create Show Gardens at the Little Bentley Hall Waterways & Garden Show.
In this Show Gardens Competition the participants will create a 6 m x 6 m Show Garden with the Theme
A Room with a View
Under this general theme there will be two Sections, one for Colleges and the second for Garden Designers, Contractors and Garden Specialists with awards in each Section.
The Gardens are to be Judged by Lady Xa Tollemache, Rupert Eley and Jim Pearce
The allocated site for Gardens to be created will be available to Designers for up to 6 Weeks before the show for landscaping and planting. A more detailed brief is now available..
Entries are still open if you would like to take part in this Competition. Designers will be able to obtain Sponsors for their Gardens but all Sponsors, and on site Advertising Material will have to be vetted by the Show Organisers. A non refundable fee of £20 is required with an entry application.
We last held this competition in 2004, and the standard of entries was outstanding; photographs of some of the entries are shown below.
