In 2004 we hosted an exhibition of sculpture, paintings and drawings in the marquee and around the garden; many of the works were made specifically for or inspired by the landscape, and they were selected to show a variety of approaches and materials, including bronze, glass, steel, wood, oil paint and watercolour.
For 2007 we will again have a major exhibition; many of the works will be for sale with a percentage of the sale price going to the charities.
This year the format for the Art Show will be arranged slightly differently from previous years. To exhibit your pictures and works of art, we are offering hanging space on a board measuring 8’ by 4’ for a fee of £75. This offer is open to individual artists, small groups, Art clubs and Societies. You will be able to display as many pictures as you wish on your Boards, and will also be able to supply us with extras that can be hung once pictures are sold . In line with this change we have decided to reduce our commission charge to 10% on all sales. Similarly, there will be a charge for display blocks for sculpture exhibits according to size and space required.
If you would like to book a board in this exhibition an entry form is enclosed, please complete and return together with cheque for £75 – Payable to ‘Little Bentley Garden Show’ by the 1st April 2007.
Boards are limited so a prompt response would be advisable. Further details will be forwarded on receipt of your booking form.
If space permits we are willing to accept provisional applications for individuals to hand just 1 or 2 Paintings, Photos or Sculptures for which there will any entry charge of £10 per item, and on which we will take a 10% Commission.
